| The Truck Insurance Unit of Gale Smith + Company are a full service insurance and risk management unit for the private and for hire motor carrier industry. We offer a complete line of truck insurance including auto liability and physical damage, motor truck cargo, general liability and property, workers compensation coverage, umbrellas, bonds and all other types of coverage for the trucking industry. We represent on a direct basis three of the principal insurers in the industry; Great West Casualty Company, Sentry Insurance, and Lancer Insurance Company. We can write a single owner/operator up to a 1,000+ unit accounts. We provide first dollar programs as well as retentions and deductibles.
Most of our brokers have experience in the motor carrier industry. Several have both law enforcement and motor carrier safety director backgrounds. We offer a variety of service and programs to the motor carrier industry. These services include in-house and onsite driver improvement programs as well as other safety related training. A MyWave site is provided to all clients with internet access that provides a wealth of information on all aspects of the truck safety and training. We can conduct FMCSA type safety audits with recommendations for improving compliance and fleet operations. |
